Steve Rich - Clarinet, Saxophones
Steve Rich began performing, music professionally prior to
earning his Bachelor of Music degree at Wittenberg University in 1977.
He has studied and performed various styles of music: from art to popular
music; from Dixieland to modern jazz; and from combos to big bands. Steve
performed across much of the Midwest and Canada with the Buddy Young Orchestra
and Show.
Besides his accomplishments on clarinet and the saxophones,
Steve has developed his teaching skills in Jazz Studies and received his
Master of Music Education degree from the University of South Carolina
in 1984. His musical expertise has enabled him to perform with artists

and Germany. Besides performing with the Original Port Royal Sound Dixieland
